• Learn, practice and demonstrate the quick release function method, before using the product.
• Wear your tail right next to the pool.
• Check water & weather conditions before swimming.
• Kids are advised to wear life jackets at all times.
• Ensure proper usage of this product, or it may lead to serious injury and fatality.

• Do not hop while wearing your tail, it may cause danger and damage the tail.

A lifeguard (or another adult who knows about water rescue) needs to be watching children whenever they are in or near the water. Younger children should be closely supervised while in or near the water – use “touch supervision,” keeping no more than an arm’s length away.

Avoid entrapment

Suction from pool and spa drains can trap a swimmer underwater. Do not use a pool or spa if there are broken or missing drain covers. Ask your pool operator if your pool or spa’s drains are compliant with the Pool and Spa Safety Act. If you have a swimming pool or spa, ask your pool service representative to update your drains and other suction fitting with anti-entrapment drain covers and other devices or systems.

Avoid inflatable swimming aids such as “floaties.”

They are not a substitute for approved life vests and can give children and parents a false sense of security.

Keep rescue equipment (a shepherd’s hook – a long pole with a hook on the end — and life preserver) and a portable telephone near the pool. Choose a shepherd’s hook and other rescue equipment made of fiberglass or other materials that do not conduct electricity. Make sure your child knows never to dive into water except when permitted by an adult who knows the depth of the water and who has checked for underwater objects. Ocean swimming should only be allowed when a lifeguard is on duty. Teach children about rip currents. If you are caught in a rip current, swim parallel to shore until you escape the current, and then swim back to shore.

Your safety is important to us, that’s why we don’t advise walking while you’re wearing your mermaid tail. It is dangerous and may lead to accidents. You can wear your tail near the pool to avoid walking. Please follow our Safety Instructions to give you a better idea on how to use the product properly.

At a Frenzy Mermaids, we always care about the safety of our customers. We recommend kids to be at least 6 years old and demonstrate advanced swimming skills to start swimming in our mermaid tails! Strict Adult Supervision is a must for all ages.
A monofin is a wide, single fin with two attached foot pockets. It is often used for the technique called the “Dolphin Kick”. Monofin help you swim and glide through the water faster and with more control. It helps in developing strong legs, abdominal and back muscles. Remember to never walk with your monofin on.

Yes, We always do our best to make sure that we deliver only the best of our products for our lovely customers. We provide a 14 days exchange policy outside the GCC countries and 3-6 days within the GCC for all unused products except the discounted items. These products are considered to be aquatic toys. Like all aquatic toys, safety precautions need to be taken whilst playing in and around the water. Swimming with mermaid tails and monofins should only occur under active adult supervision at all times. Be aware that some tails and monofins are fully enclosed from the waist down, effectively binding the legs together. Recent research has found that mermaid tails and monofins that bind a child’s legs together reduce their swimming ability by up to 70%, and make it difficult for them to balance and support themselves whilst standing or swimming in a pool – this may increase their risk of drowning. Consider choosing fins that do not bind the legs together and that easily release the feet.
The wearer should be an experienced and competent swimmer. When children first use mermaid tails and monofins, they should practice in the water with an adult. While wearing the tail or monofin, it is important they can competently float on their front and back and maneuver their body into an upright position. They should be able to independently release their feet from the monofin and be able to move to a safe position e.g. to the side of the pool, to the ladder or shallow water. It may take a few times before they feel fully capable and confident to swim with the tail or fin, especially when first attempting dolphin kicking. Movements that disorientate like somersaults, handstands and going under or through submerged objects shouldn’t be attempted. Mermaid tails are not recommended for young swimmers (under the age of 7) or non-swimmers.
These products should only be used in controlled environments such as a swimming pool under active adult supervision. It is not recommended to use mermaid tails and monofins in open water environments as these are unpredictable with currents, swells and rips which increase risk when swimming.

Owing to the stringent inspection, we can provide 100% assurance vis-à-vis with our product quality. Despite all the precautionary measures, if you are still unsatisfied with the shipped product, we are always ready to serve you and will immediately arrange an exchange or refund as per the terms and conditions for the exchange or return of the purchased item:

• The original invoice should be attached to the product to be exchanged or refunded, otherwise, the exchange request will not be entertained.
• The product to be exchanged or refunded should be in its original condition with original tags and liners intact.
• We do not accept the product unless it contains all the original contents including the instruction manuals, brochures, tags etc.
• Sale, clearance and discounted items cannot be exchanged or refunded.

To initiate your exchange or refund, we do require the return shipping beforehand. To optimize your exchanging or returning experience, we make sure that you just need to follow simple steps.

If Frenzy Mermaids is responsible for the damage, we will immediately assist you in returning the item to our warehouse for an exchange or a refund.
• Incorrect order (size of item)
If you have somehow ordered an incorrect size or product, then don’t worry we will immediately assist you with the exchange. However, the customer will be responsible to bear the shipping charges (to and from our warehouse).

Yes, you can cancel your order prior to shipping within 24 hours. You only have to inform us by emailing at customerservice@frenzymermaids.com. We will immediately send you an order cancellation confirmation email and refund the full amount to your account if your order has not been yet shipped. To an extent, it will depend on your care commitment how long your tails, monofins & swimwears will retain their colour and fabric. Your product care routine will also ensure that you continue to have a comfortable swim.

Tips to make your tail, monofin & swimwear last longer
.
• Please note that salt water and chlorine contents can “dry out” the mermaid tail / Swimwear / Monofin Neoprene cover which might lead to a loss in its flexibility. Therefore, it is highly suggested that you thoroughly soak in a tub of cold fresh water and rinse the neoprene cover.
• Avoid machine washing or drying of mermaid tail / monofin / swimwear, otherwise, you might end up causing damage to them. Instead, hand wash in cold water and mild soap.
• It is advisable to soak your mermaid tail / monofin / swimwear in a tub of cold fresh water (for at least 10-15 minutes).
• Don’t leave your mermaid tail / monofin / swimwear out in direct sunlight when you aren’t using it. It will lead to the fading of the colour of the fabric.
• Don’t store your mermaid tail / monofin / swimwear by leaving it folded, else it might develop a permanent crease.
• Do not store it in a garage or close vicinity of a vehicle as exhaust emissions from the vehicle are prone to deteriorate the neoprene.
• Hopping while wearing the mermaid tail / monofin may cause danger and may damage the tail.
• Whenever you sit on the ground, wooden bench or any rough surface, try to keep a towel underneath.
• Be careful while applying sunscreen lotions or tanning oils as they may mark or damage your tail / monofin / swimwear.
• Try not to expose your tail / monofin / swimwear to hot water or excessive chlorine as they might be hard on your fabric.
• While washing your tail / monofin / swimwear, flip it inside out for extra care.
• Avoid plastic bags for storing your tail / monofin / swimwear.
• Any improper use of this product may result in serious injury and fatalities.
• Handle your monofin with care while removing it.
• Never dry your monofin cover in a dryer.

• Do not wring or twist.
• Avoid rubbing and/or hitting the tail or fin on any rough surface.
• Do not dry clean.
• Do not wear your tail / monofin in spa baths.
• Do not soak overnight. This can loosen the fibers.
• Machine wash on gentle cycle, 30°c.
• Use a mild detergent.
• Avoid using hot water and bleach.
• Avoid tumble drying as the heat may cause damage to the fabric.
• Do not iron.
• Dry in shade.
